Car:
Paris to Clermont-Ferrand or Toulouse, then follow signs for Barcelona. Take the A9 south to just north of Perignan, then take exit 41 Perpignan-Nord. Follow the signs for Canet-Le Barcares. An excellent on-line route planner can be found at ViaMichelin or Mappy.

Bus:
the Eurolines bus leaves from various points in Europe and travels to Spain by way of Perpignan.

Air travel:
Perpignan has an international airport, 'Aeroport International de Rivesaltes'. 1.5 hours to Paris.
